Join us on a tour of Rocky Mountain Powers High Plains/McFadden Ridge Wind Farm North of Arlington! The High Plains project consists of 85 turbines and produces about 100 MW of energy. On this tour, we will learn the basics of wind energy production- from transmission to siting to wildlife impact mitigation.

Signup Instructions: If attending, please note that the event will last around 3 hours with drive time. The farm is around 45 minutes from Laramie, so plan to leave by 5:30 to arrive for a start time around 6:30.

Carpool: Carpool will leave from Laramie around 5:30, exact location will be sent out beforehand.
