Equality Day Rally at the Capitol - Cheyenne

Equality Day is a statewide advocacy and community gathering centered on visibility, participation, and belonging. The event provides an opportunity for residents from across Wyoming to show who they are — our families, our communities, our neighbors, and our shared commitment to a future where everyone belongs.
Throughout the day, participants will attend legislative meetings, gather on the Capitol steps, and connect with statewide neighbors. Organizers say the event is designed to remind lawmakers that LGBTQ+ people live and contribute in every part of the state.
“Equality Day is about showing up,” Wyoming Equality Executive Director, Sara Burlingame, said. “When we gather at the Capitol, we make our values visible and remind our leaders that real people and real communities are behind the policies they consider.”
