Could the Big Bang Theory Be Wrong? A Talk by a Scientist Who Helped Shape It - Laramie
Eminent physicist Paul Steinhardt will speak on "The Great Debate 2025: How the Universe Came to Be." Dr. Steinhardt, Albert Einstein Professor in Science at Princeton University, once helped develop the inflationary universe theory—only to later challenge it. In this engaging and accessible talk for a non-specialist audience, Steinhardt will share how his scientific journey led him to rethink one of the biggest ideas in cosmology. Event takes place at 4pm on Fri, April 25 at UW Classroom Building Room 129. A reception with food and drinks immediately follows the presentation from 5:15-6:30pm.
