WyGISC is hosting our second geospatial forum of Fall 2021 on Thursday, September 23rd from 12-1 pm. The topic is ‘Geospatial data’s role in building capacity for a blockchain secured and cryptographically enabled land administration system: The examples of Carbon County and Teton County in Wyoming’ and will be presented by Dr. Ali El Husseini. Dr. Ali El Husseini is the CEO of Medici Land Governance (MLG), a company established in 2018 and based in Utah. MLG’s mission is focused on applying emerging technologies, including blockchain, to empower developing countries’ governments at the local and national levels to verify and validate land rights for their citizens and to develop interactive transparent, secure platforms and mobile applications that provide new economic opportunities for landowners.
