Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters (Staged Reading) - Jackson

Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters (Staged Reading) - Jackson
Join Off Square Theatre for a staged reading of THREE SISTERS, Anton Chekhov’s classic play.
May 31 | 1:30pm & 6:30pm
June 1 | 4:00pm
Olga, Masha, and Irina are stuck in a rural town they hate. They detest the lack of culture, and they aren’t wild about the snow. They were raised in Moscow but can’t seem to tear themselves away from their provincial life, no matter how hard they try. (Or think they try.)
Friends visit, drink, and talk—well, for the most part everybody stays friends, but life and love get messy in a small town. Flames catch, years pass, and the three sisters laugh, cry, and dance through it all. THREE SISTERS features direction by Allison Watrous and translation from Paul Schmidt.
Come to the June 1 performance and stay after for a talkback featuring Stephen Lottridge—and enjoy thematic refreshments!
