Flute Faculty Recital on Campus – Dr. Nicole Riner (flute) and Dr. Jiwon Han (piano) perform a UW faculty recital on Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30pm in the Buchanan Center for Performing Arts Recital Hall. This performance, entitled “American Portraits” is free and open to the public.

Just as America itself weaves together so many diverse people and their cultures, this program explores works by an incredibly diverse array of American composers, from standard masterworks by Aaron Copland and Eldin Burton, to flutist-composers Katherine Hoover and Nicole Chamberlain, and a world premiere of a new solo work by rising star Reena Esmail.
