Wyoming author Shelley Moore grew up in Memphis in the 1960’s. Her memoir, “Through a Blue-Eyed Lens,” describes the experience of a middle school White girl, the Black student who sent her a love note, and a city going through one of the most pivotal moments in American history. Wyoming Public Radio’s Jordan Uplinger sat down with Moore.

Tim Hagerty, a broadcaster for the El Paso Chihuahuas, has released his second book, "Tales from the Dugout: 1001 Humorous, Inspirational & Wild Anecdotes from Minor League Baseball." Some of the stories included in the book are ones that took place in Wyoming and also include his memories covering baseball games in the state.

"Wyoming: The Paradox of Plenty" was released in late 2022 and was written by Dave Freudenthal, a Democratic two-term governor who served in office from 2003-2011. It examines the state's tax structure, economic and political history, and how mineral extraction and the energy industry grew to play an outsized role as the state's major economic driver. It also calls into question the notion of Wyoming being an independent, self-sufficient state, among other topics.
