The population in Tie Siding, Wyoming is technically zero - it's basically just a post office that serves homes and ranches in this part of southeast Wyoming. Even though the population is tiny, there is not one but two popular mystery writers living there. And they're married to each other.

Tasha Alexander is the author of the Lady Emily Mystery Series. Andrew Grant, brother of fellow author Lee Child, has written several crime series. Both have new books out - Alexander with Uneasy Lies the Crown and Grant with Invisible. Wyoming Public Radio's Caroline Ballard spoke with them at their home near Tie Siding, which sits down a long dirt road and into the foothills of the Rockies. The house is heated by a crackling fireplace, a perfect spot to sit down and have them reveal the mystery of how — after years in Chicago — they ended up in this remote corner of the state.
