Tina Unger

Tina is the Development Coordinator and Membership Liaison at Wyoming Public Radio. She is a 30 year Wyoming resident born and raised by two military veterans in Cheyenne. She moved to Laramie in 2013 to fine-tune her skills in outside sales, promotions, and event planning. Through networking and relationship building, Tina was given the opportunity to become a Wyoming Territory Manager for Young’s Market Co. in 2016. Her success with the company granted her the ability to travel the world and enjoy the service industry from the other side of the table.

After taking an opportunity to work for Townsquare Media in Laramie, she learned the bones of running and funding a radio station. Feeling the need to dip her toes back into operating restaurants once more, she then managed another Laramie restaurant for a few years until she took an interview at an organization she loved since she was a teenager…Wyoming Public Radio.

Today, Tina finds herself inspired to chase a different dream than the decade before. She is driven to help maintain support for the fact-based, community centric reporting WPR is renowned for and feels strongly that publicly owned radio is essential to fair and balanced journalism. In her free time, Tina can be found hiking and fishing in the Snowy Range with her trusty canine companions in tow.
