Prepare for the challenge by attending this no-cost workshop! Sponsored by the Wyoming SBDC Network, this workshop will take place on Tuesday, August 26th, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at at the Johnson County Public Library in Buffalo, WY.
This workshop is designed to help potential new business owners explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skill and knowledge necessary for success. We will cover investigating the potential of your idea; identifying your target market; and share free resources to assist you along the way. We will discuss financing options for budgets of all sizes, as well as where to access the capital you need to start and grow your business!

We have created our own Art Trading Card group at The NIC. We meet monthly on the 4th Tuesday from 5:30-7:30. Cards are created and traded one for one. (Take a card, leave a card) All supplies are provided. This is a FREE event for members. $5 each for not yet members. $10 per family not yet members. Come create with us! Feel free to bring snacks.About Art Trading Cards:Artist trading cards (ATCs) is a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vänçi Stirnemann in 1997. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. Artist trading cards are 2.5 by 3.5 inches in size, the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards) or playing cards. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaboration.

Join us for another Music on the Mall festival on Thursday, August 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. under the big tent in the Whitney Mall at Sheridan College. This is a family friendly, free event aimed at welcoming back our students and faculty to campus and bringing the community together around arts 'n crafts, live music, good food, and local beverages.

Headlining this festival will be the renowned, Americana rock'n roll group The Patti Fiasco, featuring powerhouse front woman Alysia Kraft. We will also have local favorites The Craft Brothers and Trout Goggles taking the stage throughout the afternoon.
In addition to the music we will once again have local arts and crafts vendors on site selling a variety of locally made products from painting to jewelry to coffee.
There will be BBQ, Pizza, and Ice Cream for sale (or employee/student meal swipe) provided by Chartwells, and Luminous Brewhouse will be serving beers, with Sheridan Liquor providing wine, cocktails and other beverages.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Please no pets or outside food and beverage.
