The Bee Jubilee
Celebrate the warmer weather with the Bee Jubilee on May 1 at the UW Berry Center in Laramie. The event will include a screening of PBS Nature’s “My Garden of a Thousand Bees” at 1 pm, followed by a conversation with UW bee experts, and activities and crafts about bees—even a chance to make a bee hotel!
1 pm: Film Screening of "My Garden of a Thousand Bees"
2 pm: Q&A with University of Wyoming graduate students specializing in bumble bees, honey bees, and pollination
2:30 pm: Learning Stations. Kids are able to make crafts to take home Wildflower seeds, instructions, and journals to track plants and pollinators will be distributed. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public
