In Caring Company: Caring for Loved Ones from Afar - Lander

In Caring Company: Caring for Loved Ones from Afar - Lander

Anam Cara Caregiving invites you to an evening of meaningful conversation and connection.
Join Sarah Wilzbacher, RN, MA, Co-Executive Director of Care at Anam Cara Caregiving, and Jim Hutchison, PA-C, Internal Medicine Provider at Lander Medical Clinic, as they guide a heartfelt discussion about what it means to care for aging loved ones from a distance.
As the holidays approach, many families visit home and realize just how much has changed—a parent who’s less steady on their feet, a fridge that’s emptier, repetitive questions and stories. These moments can stir worry, guilt, and uncertainty about what to do next.
Together, we’ll explore:
-What it means to notice changes from afar and recognize when support may be needed
-Ways to stay involved and coordinate care from a distance with compassion and clarity
-How families can communicate across distance, difference, and love
What to do when you and your loved one see their needs differently
