Family Caregiver Rejuvenation Gatherings - Lander
“Family Caregiver Rejuvenation Gatherings” is a monthly program from Anam Cara Caregiving designed to support and connect local caregivers through what can be a long and isolating journey. The first event will take place at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 14, in Lander’s City Park. The program is made possible through funding from the LOR Foundation, and it is free and open to anyone on the caregiving journey.
The path of caring for a loved one can be long and challenging, with limited opportunities for peer connection and self-care, says Anam Cara Caregiving Co-Executive Director of Development & Strategy Rachael Price. "Many Lander residents are quietly caring for aging loved ones without support or community — facing isolation, exhaustion, and immense responsibility. This program is meant to offer a bit of a reprieve.”
Activities will rotate depending on interest — walks, time outdoors, art-making, conversation — but the focus will always be the same: connection and restoration. The gatherings will be led by a professional facilitator.
