Cheyenne Audubon program: Tour Lions Park Audubon projects - Cheyenne
Cheyenne Audubon members invite the public for a free tour of Audubon projects at Lions Park and birdwatching Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. Meet in Lions Park at the parking lot between the Children’s Village and the picnic shelter and be prepared to walk a mile around the lake, or less, if preferred.
Lions Park is a Wyoming Important Bird Area. Recent Audubon projects include installing IBA signs, designing interpretive signs and encouraging native plant growth in unmown areas. Migrating birds may also be seen.
