CCPL welcomes the Campbell County Sheriff's Posse Search and Rescue Team on Monday, June 3, 10, 17, and 26 all 6:30-8:30pm at your library.

Did you know Campbell County has a Posse? Learn about the team and their resources as well as how to take care of yourself in the wilderness. During this class you'll learn about maximizing safety, survivability, and a speedy rescue -- not long-term field craft or living "off the grid."

6:30-7:30pm

Learn about preparing for any type of outing to minimize the risk of getting lost
If you get lost, learn steps to take to stay safe and aid the Posse in for a speedy rescue
7:30-8:30pm

Learn the fundamentals of survival and a range of carry items from minimalist to advanced
Learn how to identify options to replace "equipment" should you be unprepared
