Holiday Cookie Sale & Book Signing - Laramie
UPC is hosting its annual holiday celebration with their Cookie Sale. In addition to these homemade treats, they will be offering "Soup to Nuts" with pecans, pistachios, pecan candy, and a wide variety of Frontier Coup mixes and dips.
There will also be a "Meet & Greet" opportunity to speak with UPC's published authors.
- Nancy Weidel will be there with copies of her books, Sheep Wagon: Home on the Range, Cheyenne: 1867-1917, and Wyoming's Historical Ranches;
- Patty Butler with her recent book, Traveling on the River of Dementia;
- Todd Bacon's exciting children's book, Jack and the Royal Mountaineering Expedition to Shambhala; and
- Celeste Kobulnicky with her books, Women at the Well, Five Keys, and Fifth Season.
- Pam Galbreath will be there to discuss her book that will be available in January, In the Scent of Horses, Hay, and Old Barns.
Stop by and speak with them about their books. They'll be happy to sign a copy if you choose to purchase a book.
Fair Trade craft items will also be available for purchase from UPAVIM in Guatemala.
All proceeds generated by the Cookie Sale will be donated to support the terrific work of Family Promise of Albany County that serves families facing homelessness or who are homeless with a wide range of interventions.
