Heat will strain power grid in parts of California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas in coming years

Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd speaks with University of Texas at Austin professor and power grid expert Michael Webber about new research that shows that longer and stronger heat waves by mid-century are predicted to compromise the power grid in large parts of the western U.S.
