Slow but steady: The endangered bog turtle inches toward recovery in Mass.

The bog turtle is a federally threatened species.

In Massachusetts, conservationists have worked for decades to protect shrinking habitat, reduce human interference and prevent poaching. Their efforts are leading to some success.
