Wyoming Public Media Spring 2014 Pledge Drive
Wyoming Public Media is offering two drawings during the 2014 Pledge Drive. The following rules pertain to the drawing. The drawing is only valid during the drawing period. Exact times of the drawing are listed below. For more details on the Nexus 7 Click Here.
Wyoming Public Media 2014 Pledge Drive Sweepstakes Rules
Wyoming Public Media will hold two drawings for a Nexus 7 16 Gig tablet with a retail value of $229.00. No donation to Wyoming Public Media (WPM) is necessary to enter or win. A donation does not increase odds of winning. Odds are determined by the number of entries.
Only one entry per adult person (at least 18 years of age) will be accepted. Automated or scripted entries will be disqualified.
Anyone making a pledge or payment to Wyoming Public Media during the 2014 Pledge Drive will be automatically entered in the sweepstakes drawing. Entries without donations will be accepted online or by phone and must include your name, address, and either a valid phone number or email address.

Entries will be accepted between 12:00 AM on January 1st, 2014 and 11:59 PM on April 4th, 2014. Wyoming Public Media is not responsible for entries that are not received due to issues with Internet or telephone access.
The first drawing will occur for all entries received by 11:59pm March 24th 2014. This will be drawn on March 31st. The second drawing will occur for all entries received by 11:59pm April 4th 2014. This will be drawn on April 11th 2014.
Winning names will be posted on WPM website and may or may not be announced on-air.
In the event a prize is refused or is unclaimed for seven (7) days after notification, a new name will be drawn and the winner contacted. The process will be repeated until the prize is accepted.
Winners will be randomly drawn and notified by a station employee on the drawing date. If the winner declines the prize, no other prize will be offered. Prizes cannot be substituted for their fair market cash value.
Selected winners are ineligible to win additional prizes for twelve (12) months from date of prize acceptance.
Taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
Results of the drawing are final -- there are no substitutions or exchanges or cash redemptions allowed. The names of the winners – and a copy of these Official Rules -- may be obtained from WPM by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to Wyoming Public Media, 1000E University Ave, Dept 3984, Laramie WY 82071-2000.
By entering this drawing, participants release and hold harmless Wyoming Public Media, from any and all liability, injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or incurred with respect to the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize. Participants acknowledge that Wyoming Public Media is not liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
By entering this drawing, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Wyoming Public Media. The decisions of Wyoming Public Media are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment. In the event of non-compliance, an alternate Prize Winner may be selected.
If, for any reason, the drawing is not capable of running as planned by reason of technical limitations or failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Wyoming Public Media, could corrupt, compromise, undermine, or otherwise affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, viability, or proper conduct of the drawing, Wyoming Public Media reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to modify these Official Rules and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend all or any part of the drawing, and to select a Prize Winner from among all eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension, as applicable.
By entering this drawing, unless prohibited by law, the potential Prize Winner consents to use of his/her name, voice, photograph and/or likeness for advertising or publicity purposes for this and similar promotions without compensation. Moreover, by entering this drawing, unless prohibited by law, the potential Prize Winner agrees to grant to Wyoming Public Media the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including without limitation the World Wide Web, at any time or times, the Prize Winner's name, likeness (actual or simulated), voice (actual or simulated), and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
The drawing and these Official Rules are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of Wyoming. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
