The Wyoming Livestock Board announced last week that bird flu has been found in a herd of dairy cattle in Wyoming. It's the first confirmed case of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in the state.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary acquired the land needed for its Wild Horse Refuge last month and plans to open in the spring, providing more than 22,000 acres for wild horses to roam.

Shanaw Jo Bell of Mill Creek was found April 10. While feral dogs were present, Fremont County Coroner's office will release the official cause of death in a few weeks. Tribes have not both approved dog ordinance.
