TAP INTO SCIENCE - Jackson
TAP INTO SCIENCE presentation by Matthew Bambach, Water Resources Program Manager for Protect Our Water Jackson Hole — "Through the Ice: How cold hands and creativity cast light on ancient habitat change and inform our place in history"
The critical ecosystem processes occurring during the coldest months of the year have long been understudied. Winter conditions also give researchers a unique opportunity to travel back in time!
This presentation will introduce attendees to paleolimnology: a multidisciplinary scientific approach that reconstructs historical ecosystems. By exploring the microscopic indicators hidden in lake sediment, we will learn about how local water resources, and the interconnected Snake River Headwaters ecosystem, are changing through time.
Join us upstairs at the Brewpub in the private dining room to learn more! Seating is first come, first served as space is limited.
