Explore History @ TRVCC: The Flyboys of Bomber Mountain - Dayton
In the summer of 1945, cowboys were rounding up their cattle in the Bighorn Mountains. They noticed something shining on top of a ridge. They found the wreckage of a B-17 Bomber. Join Sylvia Bruner, Executive Director of the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo, as she tells the story informed by a decade of research of the ten men on board the B-17 Bomber that had taken off two years earlier and never returned.
