The Wyoming Archaeology Fair is an annual event celebrating and learning about archaeology! Meet local archaeologists, ask questions, and find answers. All day activities include atlatl throwing, flint knapping, pottery making, blacksmith demonstrations, rabbit hide painting, animal bone identification and more! All day musical entertainment will be provided by local group The Twaynes, and the Wind River Dancers will be performing from 1 pm to 2 pm. Vendors include Oompah Fry Bread Tacos and The Soda Pit. Dr. Spencer Pelton, the Wyoming State Archaeologist, welcomes you to bring artifacts from your private collections so you can learn how an expert examines and identifies them!
