The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players (CLTP) recently won big at the American Association of Community Theaters’ (AACT) national festival. At the competition, the CLTP’s production of “The Outgoing Tide” won awards for best supporting actor and best set design, both for Jeff Tish, and an award for technical design. The play was directed by Lynn Dixon and featured Tish, Judy Schulz and Troy Rumpf in a cast of three.

The Cheyenne City Council rejected an attempt to loosen its marijuana restrictions Monday, March 27. The measure would have amended Cheyenne’s municipal code to essentially decriminalize cannabis locally.

The facilities will allow Volunteers of American to provide additional services and enhance their existing ones as the demand for them has risen. These include mental and behavioral health treatment, housing assistance for low-income and the homeless, addiction treatment, and transitional veterans housing, among other human services. The facilities are set to be completed in 2024. VOA also serves residents in all 23 Wyoming counties.

Cases of pediatric RSV are spiking around the state. RSV is a virus that is usually seen around this time of the year, but this year has been worse than usual.
