May 11 – Cheyenne Audubon 50th anniversary celebration

Cheyenne Audubon invites everyone to help celebrate their 50th anniversary on May 11 with dinner at Laramie County Community College at 5 p.m. Dinner tickets, $38 (including all fees), and menu descriptions are available at https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/cheyenne50th/cheyenne-high-plains-audubon-society-50th-anniversary-dinner.

“From the Grass Up” is the title of the talk to be given by guest speaker Chris Madson, award-winning retired editor of “Wyoming Wildlife” magazine. Door prizes include a guided birding trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and a pair of binoculars, model C.1, built and donated by Lander Wyoming’s Maven Outdoor Equipment Company. Everyone attending will get two door prize tickets.

The day will start with two local free field trips, details to be announced soon.
