Ben Slater has run an audio production company since 1996, working as a freelance recording engineer, live sound engineer, and producer. From 2001 to 2008, he was staff engineer at several commercial recording studios and live sound engineer at major performance venues in Massachusetts, before returning to Wyoming in 2008. Since then he has been a broadcast engineer at Wyoming Public Media, and continues to run a small recording studio in Laramie. His work at Wyoming Public Media has involved live mixing and recording of musical guests, audio and video production, and live video-streaming projects.
