Head west to the days of homesteaders and learn about the people and animals of the prairie that make their “home on the range.”

Those that settled on the prairie had to be resourceful and use what they could find in the landscape around them. From creating their own clothes, building their own homes, and creating something out of the little around them, these people made their homes in wide open spaces. Learn about life on the plains through crafts, games, and educational talks from the Wyoming State Museum and our partners!
