Cowboys Get Ready For Air Force

The Wyoming Cowboys football team will open Mountain West Conference play  against Air Force and its vaunted option attack.

Under the option the Quarterback can run the ball, pitch it to a running back, hand it off, or fake the run and throw it. It’s an unusual offense that teams rarely use and Wyoming Head Coach Craig Bohl says that make it difficult to defend.

“What makes Air Force so challenging is one they’re disciplined, they’re unselfish, they know the offense inside and out, the guys who are on the field have had numerous repetitions, and there is very few things they have not seen.  o their execution is remarkable. “

Bohl says his defense needs to be just as good…otherwise they could be in for a long night. Kickoff is Saturday night at 8 p.m. in Laramie.
