Wyoming To Host Two Writing Conferences In June

Two writing conferences will be held in Wyoming this June. The Wyoming Writers, Inc. Conference will take place in Dubois June 1 through 3, and the Jackson Hole Writers Conference will be held in Jackson June 28 through 30. Topics and workshops include pitching, publishing, manuscript critique, and creative process.

Jackson native Aaron Linsdau, an author, publisher and polar explorer, will speak at the Dubois conference about the difficulties of writing and pushing through failure.

“I actually found writing the book about my expedition much more difficult than dragging 330 pounds of food, fuel, supplies, and butter at -40 degrees – that was actually easy compared to writing a book,” said Linsdau.

The Wyoming Writers, Inc. Conference keynote speaker is author William Kent Krueger. Featured speakers at the Jackson Hole Writers’ Conference include Nina McConigley, Peter Heller, and Michael Arndt.
