Cowboys Hope To Bounce Back Against Florida Atlantic

The Wyoming Cowboys football team will try and bounce back Saturday. The Cowboys were thrashed by Oregon last week and Saturday/today they play host to Florida Atlantic who is coming off a 50 to 21 win over Tulsa. Head Coach Craig Bohl says the Cowboys will have to stop another solid quarterback in Jaquez  Johnson.

“Well he’s a duel threat quarterback and I think he throws the ball deep really well. Anytime you have a quarterback who can run and throw, that poses problems. And not only throw it but throw it deep and throw it effectively, that poses more problems.  So we’ll have our hands full.”

Bohl says he is looking for the Wyoming defense to play much better after giving up 48 points at Oregon last week. He’s also hopeful that the Wyoming offense eliminates the turnovers that plagued it last weekend. Kickoff is Saturday/today at two.
