University Of Wyoming Hosts Future Leaders Seminar

University of Wyoming

The University of Wyoming (UW) will host the Energy and Natural Resources Fair this week with alumni of two prestigious State Department Programs: the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program and the Critical Language Scholarship Program. Both programs are U.S. State Department scholarship programs that focus on assisting students with international studies and overseas language research.

The visit was designed to focus on natural resources management with a focus on sustainability, as well as equality in research.

UW's Robert Field organized the event. He said it is meant to help bring the alums together to share their knowledge.

"It's an opportunity for meeting of minds, for collaboration, and building knowledge," Field said. "The program also emphasizes the important role that we all play regardless of gender, creed, culture."

The seminar is also meant to build relationships between the participants.

This will be the first of a series of seminars that will be put on by the U.S. State Department, and it's the only one that has a focus on environment and natural resources.
