You've probably heard about all the companies stepping up to help deal with the COVID-19 crisis: distilleries making hand sanitizer, outdoor clothing companies sewing face masks.
But what about the lack of quarantine spaces?
Well, a military contractor in Pinedale that normally designs products and services for federal, state and local governments is now manufacturing mobile hospital rooms using shipping containers. It's not the company's first time stepping up in a time of need. They also designed a system to bring clean water to Puerto Rico after the last hurricane.
Wyoming Public Radio's Melodie Edwards spoke with Enviremedial Services President Geoff Keogh and the company's sales director Sam Sumrall about how they came up with the idea for the mobile hospital rooms. Keogh explains that the Army Corp of Engineers put out a request for designs and they decided to give it a go.
