RENEE MONTAGNE, HOST:

Good morning, I'm Renee Montagne. There's Uncertain, Texas, and also Nameless. Its founders gave up on a name after the postmaster rejected several choices.

There are tasty places like Oatmeal, Okra and Lollipop. And legend has it, you have to fight swarms of insects in the town of Bug Tussle.

It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
