The Wyoming Lottery has unveiled a new in-state game. Cowboy Draw will be the first lottery game exclusively for Wyoming.
Since its launch in August, the lottery had only sold tickets for the two big multi-state games, Powerball and Mega millions. WyoLotto C.E.O. Jon Clontz says Cowboy Draw is just the first of several expansions.
We're considering bringing in a couple more games: one's called Pick Three, one's called All-Or-Nothing.
"We’re considering bringing in a couple more games: one’s called Pick Three, one’s called All-Or-Nothing. We’re certain we want to bring a couple more games in," says Clontz. "All these games we’re talking about have been researched professionally. Plus we went around the state and held focus groups and asked people in Wyoming what they’d like to see. So, the plan for this year is to put three new games in, and to continue paying the loan off."
Clontz says Cowboy Draw will have a jackpot of at least $250,000, but the average jackpot should be around $750,000. The game launches on March 15th.
