Grand Teton National Park will get almost three million dollars to extend its bike pathway as part of federal transportation grants announced today/Thursday.
Grand Teton National Park will get two-point-nine million dollars to expand its popular 20 mile bike path on U-S 89. It is part of a pathway that runs to Moose Junction from Jackson. One point two million dollars will be spent on biking and pedestrian facilities between Dubois and Pinedale along what is called the scenic Centennial byway. Other federal money will be used to develop truck parking spaces on I-80 near Wamsutter for improving the I-25 College drive interchange in Cheyenne and for other parking and highway projects across the state. The funding was announced today by National Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. Wyoming applied for the grant money in June
