Event Description

University of Wyoming President Ed Seidel and UW Black Studies Center Director Fredrick Douglass Dixon will host a virtual panel and campus town-hall meeting (Wednesday/this) evening at 6 p.m. They will discuss issues related to last week’s racist attack during a Black History Month Zoom discussion.

Members of the UW community are invited to join the discussion.

Seidel and a panel of campus leaders in diversity, equity and inclusion will be connected via a protected Zoom link to lead the discussion.

Panelists will include:

-- Jacquelyn Bridgeman, UW’s Kepler Professor of Law and director of the School of Culture, Gender and Social Justice.

-- Timberly Vogel, Black Studies Center director of community engagement.
