Wyoming Campaign Finances, A Changing Picture

WyoFile

Campaign finances have started to look different in Wyoming this election season. An unprecedented amount of money is being spent, often times in smaller, local races, and sometimes that money is being spent anonymously.

Andrew Graham, a journalist with WyoFile, has written an extensive series on the changing reality of money and Wyoming politics. He told Wyoming Public Radio’s Maggie Mullen about some of the changes that have happened since the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision.

Maggie Mullen is Wyoming Public Radio's regional reporter with the Mountain West News Bureau. Her work has aired on NPR, Marketplace, Science Friday, and Here and Now. She was awarded a 2019 regional Edward R. Murrow Award for her story on the Black 14.
