I have listened to Public Radio all my life in a number of different states. The variety and quality of programing on WPR is well above average. The shows are engaging. The news is world class high quality reportage.

I am so glad that public radio continues to survive. It allows me to receive regional, national and international news that is intensively researched and objectively reported. The rest of network news is oriented toward short sound bites, talking heads, inflammatory reporting and, above all, selling the products that appear in commercials that take up roughly 1/2 of the viewing experience. Public Radio has soul. For profit broadcasting is soulless and filled with shlock.

Thank you for all you do!
